KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 — Istana Budaya, a prominent hub for local art activists hosting international-level performances, will be closed for two years starting January 15.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 — Istana Budaya's move to implement a new standard operating procedure (SOP), beginning last year, with regard to the process and full procedure of renting its main hall, Panggung Sari, has helped overcome the national theatre’s problem of outstanding debts, which it has faced since 2010.
